Drama Our Drama class this year will be taught by Bill Sanders. Bill has an extensive history with Murder by Appointment, a Comedy/ Murder Mystery troop in Sudbury, Ontario. From Sheriff Freddy Appaloosa to International Man of Mystery, Dustin Powders. Bill has ridden, frisked and handcuffed just about everyone in Northern Ontario. He has written and directed “Frosh” for Laurentian University, acted and directed for the Sudbury Theatre Centre and designed the set and lights for various productions across the north. Bill is also a stand up comedian opening for yuk yuks in Sudbury and as a featured performer for “Comedy for a Cause”. He has extensive improv experience which lead him to be invited as a judge for the Canadian Improv Games in Sudbury. Assisting Bill with the drama class will be Amber J. Hicks. Amber has been a mainstay of Sudbury Theatre for over twenty years. Her theatre credits include lead roles in Taming of the Shrew, Crimes of the Heart, The Lion in Winter, Dangerous Liasons, Jitter’s, Run for your Wife and a Christmas Carol. Her directing credits include, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and over a hundred Murder Mysteries. After her successful run with mainstream theatre she decided to form her own troupe & Murder by Appointment was born. Since then she has been writing, producing and directing Murder Mystery’s in Sudbury and Northern Ontario for almost 15 years now. Her company has raised ten’s of thousands of dollars for charity. |
